As an Exchange Admin, you may be wondering what commands are run when you click on different areas in the Exchange Management Console, this can be Accepted Domains or Mailboxes under the Recipient Configuration section in the EMC.

It is actually very easy to find out what has been run. Launch the Exchange Management Console (EMC) and then once launched, Navigate to the section like Recipient Configuration, click on it and then click on the View Menu and select “View Exchange Management Shell Command Log”

Exchange 2010 - view what commands are run when in the emc
Exchange 2010 - View what commands are run when in the EMC 1

Once you have clicked on it a new Window will open, here you can see all the commands that have run, take note that when you close the Exchange Management Console down, it will clear the logging and it will start again once you login.

Exchange 2010 - view what commands are run when in the emc
Exchange 2010 - View what commands are run when in the EMC 2

As shown above, you can see in this example the Move Requests that have been run or getting the Exchange versions.

Hope it helps.
